Creative Crash Signs Agreement with Digimation to Acquire ModelBank.com; Online Marketplace Brought to 3 Million Users

NEW ORLEANS – November 24, 2008 – Digimation®, a leading provider of 3D content and related solutions to the entertainment and defense industries, today announced that Creative Crash, formerly known as Highend3d, has acquired the rights to ModelBank.com, a leading online store for 3D models.

ModelBank.com, which was launched in 2004, provides an online platform which allows artists to upload, describe, price, and sell their own 3D content.

“As a founder of Creative Crash, I’m thrilled about the opportunity to bring ModelBank.com to the Creative Crash community,” said Will McCullough, Creative Crash chief technical officer. “Adding ModelBank.com’s models and developers to our existing portfolio of scripts, plug-ins, and character rigs represents a significant expansion of our offerings to our community of three million users.”

“This is a win/win situation,” said David Avgikos, president of Digimation. “This will bring a tremendous amount of exposure to the talented artists who sell their products through ModelBank.com, and will allow Digimation to focus on its core products and services which include The Archive, the world largest single collection of 3D content.”

ModelBank.com products will be available soon by going to http://www.creativecrash.com. Artists who would like to use the Creative Crash service can find out more by visiting the Creative Crash website.
